ENTANGLEMENT

by Larry Goldberg

Big bangs, galaxies, the bacterial origins of life
Show no signs of gender.
Two billion years of eukaryotic evolution
Explain little of my love for you.

Embraced by your distributed, nurturing awareness
My truth and being find their fluid home.
Your wave function of entangled possibility
Gives rise to my collapsing form.

We appear as the wave and particle
But emerge from undivided light.
Traveling everywhere at once
We celebrate eternal night.
